What is Please Complain anyway?
Please Complain is a unique staff communication system which enables staff to complain anonymously to their employer about any issues in the workplace. We allow management to respond to complaints whilst we protect the staff member's anonymity. We also analyse submitted complaints so that over time, we can  identify issues which may cause staff to leave if left unchecked.

Who does my complaint get sent to?
Your complaint is sent to a system operated by Graviton Workplace Solutions. The complaint details are accessible by your company's nominated contact via a secure login on the Please Complain site. However, they cannot see your email address if you have submitted it in requesting a response. That is only known by Graviton Workplace Solutions and is not disclosed by the system to your company.

What happens after I submit my complaint?
We notify the company that there is a new complaint for their attention. If you've requested a response, then they will be able to provide one through the website. In this case, we will also follow up with you after a period of time to determine if the situation you were complaining about has improved.

All submitted complaints also go into a pool of data which we analyse on behalf of your company to highlight common areas of concern, common suggestions submitted by staff to improve the workplace, and to provide an overall picture of the changing mood of the workplace over time.

How do you protect my anonymity?
If you do not submit your email address, there will be nothing we send in the message which can identify you. Of course, you'll have to ensure you don't include any comments in your complaint which may lead someone to be able to work out who you are.

If you do give us your email address because you want a response from management, then your complaint is sent on without your email address. Your email address is not sent with the complaint and is only used so we can notify you if there is a response.

Will my complaint remain confidential?
We cannot guarantee confidentiality because your comments are sent on to the company and they are able to publish them if they so choose. However, assuming you do not include any identifying content in your complaint or suggestion, publishing the complaint would probably be a good thing. So bear that in mind when writing your complaint - assume it may be made public.
